Privacy Policy

Who we are
Seinbaken is a service that publishes video content to social media platforms on behalf of its users. Seinbaken is operated from the Netherlands. For any question about this policy, contact privacy@seinbaken.com.
What we collect
We collect only what the service needs to work:
- Account data: your email address and an encrypted password hash.
- Social account connections: when you connect a platform such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook or LinkedIn, we store the access and refresh tokens that platform issues, your account identifier on that platform, and your public display name.
- Content you upload: video files, captions and the settings you choose for each destination.
- Publishing records: which posts were sent where, whether they succeeded or failed, and the identifiers the platforms returned.
- Performance data: view, like and comment counts that platforms report for posts you published through Seinbaken.
How we use it
Your data is used to publish your content to the platforms you selected, to show you the status and performance of those posts, to support you when something fails, and to bill your subscription. We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train machine learning models. We do not post anything you did not explicitly ask us to post.
Platform access tokens
Access tokens are the keys that let Seinbaken publish on your behalf. We encrypt them at rest using AES-256-GCM, we never expose them to your browser or to any other user, and we request the minimum permissions each platform offers for publishing. You can disconnect any platform at any time from your account page, which deletes the stored tokens for that platform immediately.
Who else processes your data
We use a small number of providers to run the service: cloud hosting and object storage for your video files, an email provider for service notifications, and a payment provider for subscriptions. Each processes data only on our instructions. The social platforms you connect receive the content you ask us to publish, governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Video files are retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of deletion of the post or the account. Publishing records are kept for as long as your account exists so you retain your own history. Invoices are retained for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, your connected platform tokens, your uploaded videos and your publishing history from our systems within 30 days. You can also email privacy@seinbaken.com from your registered address and we will action the deletion within 30 days. Content already published to a social platform stays on that platform; delete it there.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction of it, deletion of it, a portable copy of it, and you can object to processing. Write to privacy@seinbaken.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will notify you by email before the change takes effect.
